2013 Little League Summer Season
Registration will open on June 1st!

Games during the week, no weekends. No practices
-
Three divisions: Minor A (6 & 7 year olds with pitching machine), Minor AA (8 & 9 year olds with kid-pitch) and AAA/Majors (10 - 12 year olds)
-
Players must be full-time residents of Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe City, Grosse Pointe Woods, Grosse Pointe Shores or Harper Woods
-
Season will begin on or around July 15 and run for four weeks

Fees:
$100 for all divisions

2013 GPFCLL Picnic |

Grosse Pointe Farms City Little League 2013 Picnic - June 20th at Pier Park!!!
 The picnic typically begins around 5-5:30pm (most people get to the park around 6pm). We will be presenting trophies, etc. All GPFCLL teams and players are encouraged to attend. Teams should coordinate their own food and drinks. There will be parking across the street, if necessary.
A word about "Reserving Tables" for your team at Pier Park: As in years past, it is a first come first serve basis, but note that "reserving" starts at about 8am (
see below
) the morning of the picnic. Teams will grab a table (you can only reserve two, don't be greedy, we have a ton of teams that need tables!) by placing their picnic gear on that table with a sign for their team. This is all that is really needed. But again, don't commandeer more than two, and one really works well if you bring a few lawn chairs.
Also, and this is HUGELY important:
Make sure you bring a couple of large garbage bags to pick up after your team at picnic's end. We will come down very hard on the manager and coaches of those teams who leave a mess. |

Grosse Pointe South Baseball Coaches Offer Personal Instruction
Baseball players of any age can now receive personal instruction on all aspects of the game from Grosse Pointe South’s baseball coaches. South coaches are available for inside or outside instruction, throughout the year. Players may choose to have one or more coaches at a time, and can focus on hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, or any specific element of the game they prefer.
“We will continue to run the camps we have for years at South in January and March, and at Defer in June. Now, we are responding to the demand for private instruction throughout the year by offering instruction to individual players, a group of players or teams as a whole,” commented South’s longtime Varsity Baseball Coach Dan Griesbaum.
