Here is a starting list of safety precautions we are working through on how to implement and issues we’re discussing. We will continue to adjust as we get more information/recommendations from the County/State/LL/CDC:
- Social distancing for teams not in field (safe distancing and placement for children whose team is at bat)
- No food in the dugout (seeds, gum, etc.)
- No sharing of equipment
- No sharing catcher's gear (any league catcher's gear will be provided to specific catchers who do not have their own personal gear); no catcher's for A Division
- No sharing or communal water bottles; personal water bottles clearly marked with the player's name
- Considering placement of umpires
- No Spitting
- Procedures for symptomatic player
- Restroom access will not be available
- Each team uses their own baseballs when in the field
- No physical contact other than as required when the ball is in play
Please respond to [email protected] by Friday, June 5th, to reconfirm for this season, as we may have to make adjustments to teams.
